Ingredients
- Orange Bell Peppers 1 piece
- Orange Bell Peppers 1 piece
- Orange Bell Peppers 1 piece
- Olive Oil 5 fl oz
- Champagne Vinegar 1 teaspoon
- Garlic 4 cloves
- Fresh basil leaves 1 bunch
- French Baguette 1 piece
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the peppers in half, remove the seeds, and slice into quarters. Place in a large bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Add salt, pepper, and mix well. Spread on a baking sheet. Place in an oven preheated to 390°F.
Step 2
Slice the French baguette. Place in the oven to turn into croutons.
Step 3
Crush the garlic in a mortar, transfer to a bowl, add olive oil, white wine vinegar, salt, and pepper, and whisk with a fork.
Step 4
Remove the baking sheet with the peppers from the oven, let cool, and cut into strips. Place in a deep salad bowl, pour over the sauce, tear the leaves from the bunch of fresh basil and add to the peppers. Mix everything, transfer to a serving dish. Serve with croutons.
