Ingredients

  • Penne rigate 5 oz
  • 10% cream 5 oz
  • Onion 0 oz
  • Basil 0 oz
  • Dijon Mustard 0 oz
  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Dry White Wine 5 fl oz
  • Olive Oil 0 fl oz
  • Semi-Smoked Sausage 5 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Boil the penne in salted water for 7 minutes, drain the water and save it.

Step 2

Remove the casing from the sausages and crush them with a knife.

Step 3

Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic.

Step 4

Sauté the onion and garlic in olive oil over medium heat for 1 minute.

Step 5

Add the sausages, wine, and mustard, and fry, stirring, for 2 minutes.

Step 6

Add the penne to the skillet with the sausages, add 0.5 ladles of the water used to cook the penne, pour in the cream, and heat everything together without bringing it to a boil.

Step 7

Serve the penne on plates, season with pepper, sprinkle with coarsely chopped basil, and serve.
