Penne with Chicken and Curry

Description
You can use sour cream of any fat content, depending on your preference; I prefer a lighter version. You can also experiment with the curry — choose the level of spiciness you like. Ingredients
- Butter 3 tablespoons
- Orange Bell Peppers 1 piece
- Onion 1 piece
- Ground clove 1 piece
- Fresh Mushrooms 5 oz
- Wheat Flour 3 tablespoons
- Red Curry Powder 1 tablespoon
- Tomatoes 20 oz
- Sour Cream 10 oz
- Chicken Broth 1 cup
- Poultry 15 oz
- Penne rigate 10 oz
- Chopped almonds 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Melt the butter in a saucepan and sauté the chopped green bell pepper, onion, garlic, and mushrooms until soft.
Step 2
Add the flour and curry powder. Sauté for 2 minutes over low heat.
Step 3
Add the chopped tomatoes, peeled and seeded, to the vegetables and simmer for 5 minutes.
Step 4
Add the chicken broth and sour cream and simmer until thickened.
Step 5
Boil the chicken until cooked and cut it into pieces. Add it to the saucepan and simmer for another 5 minutes.
Step 6
While the sauce is cooking, boil the penne pasta in 3 liters of salted water. Drain and place on a serving dish.
Step 7
Pour the sauce over the pasta and sprinkle with chopped almonds.
Step 8
It can be served immediately.
