Ingredients
- Penne rigate 5 oz
- Beef 5 oz
- Parmesan Cheese 0 oz
- Celery stalk 0 oz
- Shallot 0 oz
- Carrot 0 oz
- Garlic 1 clove
- Thyme 0 oz
- Baking Tomatoes 5 oz
- Parsley 0 oz
- Oregano 0 oz
- Butter 0 oz
- Dry White Wine 0 fl oz
- Olive Oil 0 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Add the penne to boiling salted water and cook for 9 minutes.
Step 2
Grind the beef using a meat grinder.
Step 3
Finely chop the onion, celery, carrot, and garlic.
Step 4
Sauté the chopped vegetables in a heated skillet with olive oil along with the ground beef for 4–5 minutes, season with salt and pepper.
Step 5
Add oregano to the sautéed beef and vegetables, pour in 50 ml of wine, add the tomatoes with their juice, and simmer for 10 minutes until the tomatoes are completely softened.
Step 6
Add the cooked penne and butter to the sauce and simmer for 1–2 minutes, stirring continuously.
Step 7
Serve on a plate, sprinkle with grated Parmesan and chopped parsley, garnish with a sprig of thyme, and enjoy.
