Pears with Soft Cheese and Bacon
Ingredients
- Pears 2 pieces
- Bacon 4 slices
- Robiola cheese 4 slices
- Yellow Cherry Tomatoes 2 pieces
- Olive Oil 5 fl oz
- Meyer Lemon Juice 5 fl oz
- Honey-Mustard Dressing 1 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Butter 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut each pear (preferably Anjou pears) into 4 pieces and remove the core. Sauté the slices in a small amount of butter in a skillet.
Step 2
Blanch the tomatoes, remove the seeds, and chop finely. Mix in a separate bowl with all the other ingredients (except for the bacon). Season with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Arrange the pears in a fan shape on a serving plate, placing a slice of bacon and a piece of cheese on each pear quarter. Drizzle with the sauce on top.
