
Pear Oatmeal without Sugar

Ingredients
- Milk 15 fl oz
- Oat flakes 5 oz
- Water 10 fl oz
- Cinnamon a pinch
- Salt to taste
- Conference Pear 2 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a pot, add 100 g of oat flakes, pour in 480 ml of warm milk and 240 ml of warm water (you can heat it in the microwave). Wait for the water and milk to boil.
Step 2
While everything is boiling, wash and peel 1 pear, then grate it.
Step 3
Once the water and milk have boiled, add 1/3 teaspoon of salt (without a heap), reduce the heat to the minimum. Add the grated pear and a pinch of cinnamon.
Step 4
Next, let the porridge cook on low heat with the lid closed for about 20–25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 5
I usually prepare the porridge in the evening, so after 20 minutes of cooking, I turn off the stove, wrap the pot in a towel, and leave it on the stove to 'steam' more. However, if you are cooking in the morning, leave the porridge covered for another 10–15 minutes, and you can serve it!
Step 6
Before serving, peel and cut the remaining pear into small pieces, and add the pieces to the bowl with the porridge.
