Peach Bourbon Barbecue Sauce
Ingredients
- Donut Peaches 20 oz
- Water 10 fl oz
- Bourbon 5 fl oz
- Barbecue sauce 25 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Remove the pits from the peaches and cut them into small cubes. Place them in a saucepan and add 120 ml of water. Bring to a boil over medium heat, reduce the heat, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until soft (if the water evaporates too quickly, add a little more water).
Step 2
Remove from heat and add the bourbon. Return to heat and simmer for another 5 minutes. Then add the barbecue sauce and cook, stirring, for 5 minutes.
Step 3
Transfer the mixture to a blender and blend until smooth. Then, while blending, slowly add the remaining 120 ml of water. Cool and serve.
