Pea porridge in a multicooker

Ingredients

  • Pea shoots 1 cup
  • Ham 5 oz
  • Semi-Smoked Sausage 5 oz
  • Vegetable Oil 4 tablespoons
  • Salt to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Rinse the peas and soak them for 2 hours.

Step 2

Drain in a colander, place in the multicooker pot, and add fresh water just to cover the peas.

Step 3

Cook in 'Multicook' mode for 2 hours 15 minutes at 195°F.

Step 4

30 minutes before it's done, add the bacon cut into cubes.

Step 5

Cut the ham into small pieces.

Step 6

Add to the porridge and set to 'Keep Warm' mode for 5 minutes.
