Ingredients

  • Spaghetti 10 oz
  • Canned Mackerel in Oil 5 oz
  • Onion 1 piece
  • Garlic 1 clove
  • Baking Tomatoes 1 can
  • Mild Chili Spice 1 piece
  • Olive Oil 7 teaspoons
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Herbs to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente (al dente pasta is slightly firm to the bite).

Step 2

Lightly sauté the garlic and red pepper, then add the onion and cook until golden brown.

Step 3

Remove the tuna from the can, drain off the excess oil, and add it to the skillet, breaking it up with a fork. Keep it at a gentle simmer for 2-3 minutes.

Step 4

Add the tomatoes, stir, then season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 5–10 minutes.

Step 5

Drain the cooked pasta in a colander, then return it to the skillet and cook over low heat for a few minutes to allow it to absorb the sauce. Sprinkle the finished pasta with chopped fresh herbs and spices.
