Pasta with Spinach, Cheddar, and Cream
Ingredients
- Penne rigate 10 oz
- Fresh basil leaves 5 oz
- Cream 22% 5 oz
- Cheshire Cheese 5 oz
- Walnuts 0 oz
- Nutmeg to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cook the penne according to the package instructions, undercooking by 1 minute.
Step 2
Preheat the oven to 355°F.
Step 3
Grate the cheese and chop the walnuts.
Step 4
Chop the spinach, place it in a sieve, and pour boiling water over it. Drain well.
Step 5
Drain the pasta and add the spinach, 150 g of cheddar, cream, walnuts, and nutmeg to the pot. Optionally, add salt and pepper. Mix well.
Step 6
Grease a baking dish with oil and transfer the contents of the pot into it. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese and bake in the oven for 5 minutes.
