Pasta with Spicy Tomato Sauce
Ingredients
- Spaghetti 15 oz
- Baking Tomatoes 2 cans
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Mild Chili Spice 1 piece
- Olive Oil 7 tablespoons
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cook the pasta al dente in salted water (al dente pasta is slightly firm to the bite).
Step 2
In a deep skillet, heat the olive oil and sauté the garlic and red pepper (if you want the pasta to be very spicy, cut the pepper with the seeds; if not, remove the seeds and do not cut the pepper).
Step 3
Add the tomatoes, salt, and pepper. Bring to a gentle simmer over low heat.
Step 4
Drain the cooked pasta and add it to the skillet, mixing well.
Step 5
Increase the heat and keep the pasta on it for 2–3 minutes to absorb the sauce.
Step 6
Serve hot.
