Pasta with Shrimp in Ginger-Cream Sauce
Ingredients
- Spaghetti 5 oz
- King Prawns 10 oz
- Cream 22% 10 oz
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese 5 oz
- Grated Ginger Root to taste
- Lemon to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In heated oil, add garlic and pieces of ginger root. Sauté until golden brown and remove from the pan.
Step 2
Meanwhile, bring water to a boil for the spaghetti.
Step 3
Next, add the shrimp and sauté over medium heat for a few minutes. Then reduce the heat, add the cream and grated cheese.
Step 4
In boiling salted water, add vegetable oil and spaghetti. Cook for 5–6 minutes.
Step 5
Simmer the sauce covered for a few minutes until thickened, then season with salt and spices. Add the cooked spaghetti to the sauce and mix well, leaving it to simmer covered for another 1–2 minutes.
Step 6
Serve with fresh herbs and a slice of lemon.
