Description
Pasta with shrimp and baby octopus
Ingredients
- Paccheri Pasta 15 oz
- Peeled Cooked Shrimp 20 oz
- Octopus 5 oz
- Olive Oil 5 fl oz
- Dill 2 stems
- Ocean salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Cream 22% 5 fl oz
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese 0 oz
- Bay leaf 2 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Place a pot with about 2 liters of water on the stove, salt the boiling water, add pepper, and drop in the baby octopus to cook, adding bay leaves when it boils. The indicator for the readiness of the octopus is their dark burgundy color (about 20-30 minutes).
Step 2
Add the frozen shrimp to a hot skillet and simmer for 15 minutes, seasoning with salt and pepper, then add olive oil and lightly sauté, add cream and simmer for another 5 minutes, finally add dill.
Step 3
Combine the octopus with the shrimp and mix; the seafood is ready.
Step 4
Cook the pappardelle for no more than 7 minutes. Drop the pasta into boiling water, add a tablespoon of olive oil, and stir.
Step 5
Serve the pappardelle on a large plate, top with the seafood, and grate Parmesan on top. The pasta is ready!
