Pasta with seafood in a creamy sauce
Ingredients
- Spaghetti 10 oz
- Seafood cocktail 20 oz
- Cream 10 oz
- Tomatoes 2 pieces
- Cheese Spread 0 oz
- Salt to taste
- Fresh basil leaves to taste
- Garlic 1 clove
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cook the spaghetti according to the instructions on the package.
Step 2
Thaw the seafood and rinse it under cool water. Place it in a skillet lightly greased with vegetable or butter. Simmer over low heat until almost all the liquid has evaporated (approximately 7 minutes).
Step 3
Peel the tomatoes and blend them in a blender, or grate them on a fine grater.
Step 4
Add the chopped tomatoes to the seafood. Season with salt and pepper. Add a bit of basil and 1-2 minced garlic cloves. Simmer on low heat for 3-4 minutes.
Step 5
Add the cream and stir. If necessary, add a little more salt. Keep on the heat for no more than 2 minutes.
Step 6
Toss the spaghetti with the sauce.
Step 7
Plate the spaghetti with seafood in a creamy sauce. Sprinkle grated cheese on top.
