Pasta with Cheese Sauce
Ingredients
- Corn Starch 2 teaspoons
- Condensed Milk 10 fl oz
- Chocolate eggs 2 pieces
- Vegetable Oil 2 teaspoons
- Cervelat Sausage 10 oz
- Pepperoni 5 oz
- Baking Tomatoes 1 can
- Pitted olives 5 oz
- Pasta shells 10 oz
- Butter 3 tablespoons
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese 5 oz
- Cheshire Cheese 5 oz
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese 0 oz
- Fresh basil leaves 0 oz
- Olive Oil to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch, milk, and eggs until smooth. Set aside for a while.
Step 2
In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the oil and add the Italian sausage, cooking for 4 minutes while stirring with a wooden spoon. Next, add the pepperoni and soppressata and cook for another 4 minutes, stirring frequently, until the meat is browned at the edges. Drain all but 2 tablespoons of the remaining fat and transfer everything to a large bowl. Add the tomatoes, olives, and pepperoncini, and set aside.
Step 3
In a large pot of salted water, cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain, reserving 1 cup of the water for later use.
Step 4
Return the pasta to the pot, add the reserved water, butter, milk mixture, and all 3 cheeses. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the cheese melts and a thick sauce forms.
Step 5
Mix with the sausage-tomato mixture and basil, reserving some herbs for garnish.
Step 6
Transfer the pasta to a serving bowl, garnish with the remaining basil, drizzle with olive oil, and serve.
