Ingredients
- Pasta (corkscrew) 15 oz
- Canned White Asparagus 0 lbs
- Olive Oil 7 tablespoons
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Mild Chili Spice 1 piece
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the asparagus into 2 cm slices.
Step 2
Cook the pasta al dente in salted water (al dente pasta is slightly firm to the bite).
Step 3
While the pasta is cooking, take a deep skillet, pour in the olive oil, and sauté the garlic and red pepper.
Step 4
Add the sliced asparagus, bring to a gentle boil, add salt, pepper, and cover with a lid. Keep on low heat for 5 minutes.
Step 5
Remove the lid and continue to sauté the asparagus until tender, ensuring it does not become overly soft.
Step 6
Drain the cooked pasta and add it to the skillet.
Step 7
Mix well and leave on the heat for 1 minute. Add more olive oil if necessary.
Step 8
Check for taste. Is there enough salt and pepper? Serve the pasta hot.
