Pasta Carbonara with Bacon
Ingredients
- Durum wheat 10 oz
- Cream 22% 5 oz
- Bacon 5 oz
- Egg white 4 pieces
- Olive Oil 0 fl oz
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Slice the bacon and fry it in a pan.
Step 2
Bring water to a boil.
Step 3
In a separate bowl, whisk the yolks and cream, add salt, pepper, and grated Parmesan.
Step 4
Add salt, olive oil, and spaghetti to the boiling water (I prefer the Barilla brand, but if I have time, I make the pasta myself).
Step 5
Cook for 1 minute less than indicated on the package (if you made the pasta yourself, cook for 2 minutes), until al dente.
Step 6
Add the bacon and pasta to the sauce, mix, and serve on plates, topped with grated Parmesan.
