Ingredients
- Parsnip 20 oz
- Water 1 cup
- Apple 20 oz
- Butter 1 tablespoon
- Coarse Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Peel the parsnip and cut it into small pieces. Peel the apples and remove the cores, then cut them into small pieces.
Step 2
Place the parsnip and apples in a saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, cover, and cook until tender for 25–30 minutes.
Step 3
Transfer to a food processor and puree, adding butter, salt, and pepper to taste.
