Parma Ham Roll with Ricotta-Stuffed Grilled Figs and Arugula Salad
Ingredients
- Basil 2 tablespoons
- Ricotta cheese 2 tablespoons
- Green Figs 6 pieces
- Arugula 0 oz
- Parma Ham 6 slices
- Olive Oil 2 tablespoons
- Balsamic Vinegar 1 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Heat a skillet. In a bowl, mix ricotta with finely chopped basil, add seasonings. Cut the figs and stuff them with the mixture.
Step 2
Slice the Parma ham into 6 thin strips, wrap the figs and place them in the skillet. Cook for 4–5 minutes, turning until the ham is crispy and the figs are warmed through.
Step 3
Place the arugula in a bowl, add balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Add more seasoning, mix well. Arrange the salad on serving plates and top with the rolls.
