
Pancakes with Apples, Cinnamon, and Maple Syrup

Description
If desired, you can add two tablespoons of applesauce to the pancake batter. The liquid from the apples can also be used as syrup.
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 10 oz
- Baking Powder 2 spoons
- Brown Sugar 3 spoons
- Salt a pinch
- Cinnamon 2 spoons
- Milk 10 fl oz
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Butter 4 spoons
- Apple 3 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, salt, and 1 tablespoon of sugar.
Step 2
Add the milk and egg, mix well, and let it sit at room temperature for about 20 minutes.
Step 3
Add 2 tablespoons of melted butter, stir, and use about 50 ml of the batter for one pancake.
Step 4
Fry on a dry hot skillet (preferably a crepe pan) for about 1 minute on each side. Stack them up.
Step 5
For the sauce, wash the apples, peel them, remove the cores, and slice them into wedges.
Step 6
In a heavy-bottomed pot, combine 2 tablespoons of butter, 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
Step 7
Add the apples and simmer for 10 minutes until they become tender.
Step 8
Serve by topping with apples and drizzling with maple syrup.
