Description
Pan con tomate, or in Russian — bread with tomatoes. This Spanish recipe is one of the simplest and most delicious there is.
Ingredients
- French Baguette 10 oz
- Tomatoes 10 oz
- Garlic 1 clove
- Olive Oil 5 fl oz
- Ocean salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Slice the baguette into pieces approximately 12 cm long.
Step 2
Then cut them lengthwise.
Step 3
Place on a baking sheet. Then, transfer to an oven preheated to 355°F for 8 minutes.
Step 4
Grate the tomato on a coarse grater, discarding the skin.
Step 5
Take the dried bread out of the oven.
Step 6
Rub the stale bread with garlic.
Step 7
Drizzle with olive oil.
Step 8
Spread grated tomato on the bread.
Step 9
Season with salt.
Step 10
Serve with a clove of garlic and salt.
