Description
Oven Pizza with Pear and Gorgonzola
Ingredients
- Conference Pears 3 pieces
- Gorgonzola Cheese 5 oz
- Mozzarella Cheese 5 oz
- Olive Oil 4 tablespoons
- Wheat Flour 10 oz
- Arugula 0 oz
- Water 5 fl oz
- Spices 2 tablespoons
- Dry yeast 1 tablespoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Sift the flour, then add the yeast and a pinch of salt. Pour in the water and mix thoroughly. For flavor and elasticity, add 3–4 tablespoons of olive oil. Knead everything into a dough. Once the dough is ready, place it in a plastic bag and leave it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Step 2
Meanwhile, prepare the filling and preheat the oven to 355°F. Grate the mozzarella and gorgonzola. Slice the pear into thin slices.
Step 3
Roll out the dough into a thin base.
Step 4
Shape the pizza. Arrange the pear slices, then sprinkle with mozzarella and gorgonzola. Add the spices. Place in the oven for 20 minutes.
Step 5
For added flavor, top with arugula and drizzle with olive oil. If desired, gorgonzola can be replaced with Iranian cheese, which works well in such dishes. The taste is not compromised, but rather enhanced.
