Ingredients
- Orzo Pasta 20 oz
- Crab sticks in brine 5 oz
- Fish Oil 0 qt
- Onion 5 oz
- Garlic 4 cloves
- Cognac 0 fl oz
- Dry White Wine 5 fl oz
- Vegetable Oil 0 fl oz
- 10% cream 5 fl oz
- Parsley 0 oz
- Salt to taste
- White Pepper (whole) to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a deep skillet, sauté finely chopped onion in vegetable oil until soft, then add minced garlic and cook the onion and garlic together for about one to one and a half minutes.
Step 2
Then add the cognac and white wine, and simmer the vegetables in the alcohol until the liquid has completely evaporated. Next, stir in the orzo and pour in fish or chicken stock.
Step 3
Cook the pasta, stirring, until al dente. This usually takes fifteen to sixteen minutes, depending on the firmness of the pasta; you can check the exact cooking time on the package.
Step 4
Three minutes before the cooking is finished, add the crayfish tails, cream, chopped parsley, and season with salt and pepper.
