- Wheat Flour 10 oz
- Dark Ale 10 fl oz
- Onion 3 heads
- Vegetable Oil 0 qt
- Salt to taste

Step 1
Mix 230 grams of flour with dark ale until smooth using a whisk.
Step 2
Peel the onion and slice it into thick rings.
Step 3
Separate the onion into individual rings.
Step 4
Season the onion rings with salt and coat them in flour.
Step 5
In a deep skillet, heat the oil to 375°F.
Step 6
Dip the rings one by one in the batter and drop them into hot oil. Fry for 2–3 minutes until golden brown.
Step 7
Transfer the cooked rings to a paper towel to remove excess fat.
