Ingredients
- Onion 2 heads
- Chicken Egg 2 pieces
- Sour Cream 5 oz
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Salt 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable Oil 5 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Slice the onion into rings about 6 mm thick.
Step 2
Pour boiling water over the rings in a colander.
Step 3
For the batter: beat the eggs, add salt and sour cream, and mix in the flour. The consistency should be similar to that of pancake batter.
Step 4
Dip the rings in the batter.
Step 5
Heat the oil in a skillet and carefully fry the rings on both sides until golden brown.
