Ingredients
- Spanish onions 4 pieces
- Sugar ½ cup
- Frozen Cherimoya Fruits ½ cup
- Red Long Chili Peppers 0.3 teaspoons
- Salt 1 teaspoon
- Ground Cinnamon 0.3 teaspoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Place pitted cherries in a saucepan, sprinkle with sugar, and set over low heat. Cook for 15 minutes, stirring constantly.
Step 2
Slice the onions into rings and add them to the cherry mixture.
Step 3
Cook for about one hour on the lowest heat, stirring regularly. If the confit starts to stick to the bottom, add a little boiling water and continue cooking.
Step 4
The onions should become completely soft and transparent. Add salt, ground cinnamon, and hot pepper. Mix and cook for another 10 minutes.
