Ingredients

  • Butter 0 oz
  • Spanish onions 2 heads
  • Spanish onions 1 head
  • Wheat Flour 5 oz
  • Puff Pastry 15 oz
  • 20% Sour Cream 10 oz
  • Chocolate eggs 3 pieces
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Ground Nutmeg to taste
  • Cheshire Cheese 5 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Melt the butter in a saucepan, add all the chopped onions, cover with a lid, and simmer, stirring occasionally, on low heat for 35 minutes.

Step 2

Preheat the oven to 375°F.

Step 3

Roll out the pastry and line the tartlet molds greased with butter. Metal molds with sharp edges work very well.

Step 4

Bake the tartlets for 15 minutes.

Step 5

Meanwhile, in a large bowl, whisk together the sour cream, eggs, and spices. Add the cooked onions and half of the grated cheese.

Step 6

Distribute the mixture among the tartlets. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese.

Step 7

Bake for 20–25 minutes.
