Omelette with Bacon, Tomatoes, Basil, and Oregano
Ingredients
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Fresh basil leaves 1 bunch
- Fresh basil leaves 1 bunch
- Chocolate eggs 4 pieces
- Fresh basil leaves a pinch
- Dried Rosemary a pinch
- Salt to taste
- Ground Dried Garlic a pinch
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Semi-Smoked Sausage 4 slices
- Baking Tomatoes 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Whisk the eggs well, add the oregano, basil, garlic, salt, and pepper to taste.
Step 2
Heat olive oil in a skillet. Add fresh garlic and bacon, sauté for 2–3 minutes, add the canned tomatoes and simmer on low heat for 5–7 minutes. Add finely chopped basil and oregano, season with a little salt, mix, and simmer for another 2 minutes.
Step 3
Add all the contents from the skillet to the beaten eggs. Mix thoroughly. Pour back into the skillet and cover, cooking on low heat until ready.
Step 4
Optionally, sprinkle with parmesan on top.
