Ingredients
- Hercules Oats 0 oz
- Milk 10 fl oz
- Sugar 1 tablespoon
- Conference Pear ½ piece
- Roasted Peanuts 1 tablespoon
- Cream 22% 1 cup
- Butter 2 tablespoons
- Mild Chili Spice ¾ teaspoon
- Ground Cinnamon 0.2 teaspoons
- Chocolate 53% 10 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
For the sauce, melt the chocolate with the cream and butter in a water bath, stirring until smooth, then remove from heat. Add the ground chili and cinnamon, mix well, and store in an airtight container.
Step 2
For the oatmeal, combine the milk, sugar, and a pinch of ground cinnamon in a saucepan, bring the mixture to a boil, add the Hercules oats, and cook, stirring, until thickened. Remove from heat and divide the oatmeal into bowls. Remove the core and skin from the pear, cut it into cubes, and place it on top of the oatmeal. Chop the walnuts and sprinkle them over the pear. Finally, drizzle with the chocolate sauce (preferably warm; reheat if necessary).
