
Oatmeal with Molasses, Ginger, and Walnuts

Description
If you don't have dark molasses, substitute it with muscovado sugar, and if you don't have light molasses, simply use white sugar.
Ingredients
- Ground Oats 0 oz
- Milk 10 fl oz
- Cinnamon 1 piece
- Light Molasses 2 teaspoons
- Ground clove 0.1 teaspoons
- Light Molasses 1 teaspoon
- Candied fruits 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a saucepan, combine milk, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, and one teaspoon each of light and dark molasses. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, add the oats, and cook, stirring, until thickened.
Step 2
Remove from heat, take out the cinnamon stick, and divide the oatmeal into bowls. Sprinkle with chopped walnuts, drizzle with dark molasses, and serve.
