  • Cinnamon 2 pieces
  • Oat flakes 1 cup
  • Vanilla salt 1 piece
  • Dried Turkey to taste
  • Milk 0 fl oz
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Soak the oat flakes in water. Ideally, this should be done the night before, so they won't need to be cooked at all. If soaked in cold water, the oatmeal will be more mushy; if soaked in hot water, it will retain its density better. If you cannot prepare everything the night before, you can cook the oats in salted water with added milk.

Step 2

Add crushed cardamom, 2 sticks of cinnamon, and the vanilla pod to the pot. Chop the dried fruits and add them to the oatmeal. Add salt and sugar, and let it sit for a few minutes.
