Description
This syrup can be made with hazelnuts, walnuts, or almonds. However, the taste of the resulting dish may differ from what you expect. Store the syrup in a cool place.

- Hazelnut 10 pieces
- Walnuts 10 pieces
- Gingerbread-flavored syrup 0 qt
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Peel the nuts and chop them finely or crush them.
Step 2
Place them in an enamel pot, pour hot sugar syrup over them, cover with parchment paper, tie securely, and let steep in the cold for 4–8 hours.
Step 3
Then strain the syrup, pour it into bottles, and seal tightly.
