  • Oats 10 oz
  • Flaxseeds 0 oz
  • Black sesame seeds 0 oz
  • Roasted sunflower seeds 5 oz
  • Shelled roasted pumpkin seeds 0 oz
  • Shredded Coconut 4 tablespoons
  • Cinnamon 1 teaspoon
  • Brown Sugar 5 oz
  • Salt 1 teaspoon
  • Vegetable Oil 0 fl oz
  • Honey 0 oz
  • Water 0 fl oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Toast the sesame seeds in a hot skillet, using the first 'pops' of the seeds as a guide for toasting time :)

Step 2

Preheat the oven to 265°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 3

In a large bowl, combine the dry ingredients: oats, flaxseeds, toasted sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, shredded coconut, cinnamon, brown sugar, and salt. Mix well.

Step 4

In a separate bowl, mix the water, honey, and oil, then pour it into the bowl with the nuts and oats. Stir thoroughly to ensure all dry ingredients are coated.

Step 5

Spread the mixture onto the baking sheet, flatten it out, and place it in the oven.

Step 6

Bake the granola for 60-70 minutes, stirring the mixture occasionally. After the time is up, turn off the oven, crack the door open, and let the granola 'rest' for 10-15 minutes. Then remove it from the oven and let it cool completely. Store in a dry place in a tightly sealed container at room temperature.
