Nut and Vegetable Balls
Ingredients
- Celery stalk 1 piece
- Leek 2 heads
- Chopped almonds 5 oz
- Turnips 2 pieces
- Walnuts 5 oz
- Coarse Salt 1 teaspoon
- Soy Sauce 2 teaspoons
- Sage a pinch
- Ground Cumin a pinch
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Soak the nuts in water for 1 hour, then dry them.
Step 2
Place the vegetables in a blender and chop them.
Step 3
Add the remaining ingredients and blend again.
Step 4
Pour a small amount of water into a bowl and, moistening your hands, shape small balls from the mixture.
Step 5
Place the balls to dry at 140°F for 1 hour. If the balls are not ready, reduce the temperature to 105°F and dry until the balls are dry on the outside but soft on the inside.
Step 6
Serve warm.
