Mussels in Ginger and Parsley Sauce
Ingredients
- Pasta shells 0 lbs
- Dry White Wine 5 fl oz
- Olive Oil 15 fl oz
- Garlic 3 cloves
- Grated Ginger Root to taste
- Parsley to taste
- Salt a pinch
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
For the sauce: blend 400 ml of olive oil, 3 cloves of garlic, 3 cm of fresh ginger root, 4-5 sprigs of parsley, and salt to taste until smooth.
Step 2
Place the mussels in a deep pot, add the wine and 2/3 of the parsley sauce. Cook over medium heat for 7-8 minutes.
Step 3
Discard any unopened mussels. Arrange the remaining mussels on a plate and drizzle with the remaining sauce, strained through a sieve.
