Ingredients
- Mussels 0 lbs
- Onion 5 heads
- Celery salt 2 pieces
- Garlic 6 cloves
- Safflower Oil 5 fl oz
- Wheat Flour 2 tablespoons
- Red Long Chili Peppers 1 teaspoon
- Tomato Puree 2 tablespoons
- Lemon 5 pieces
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Rinse the mussels in several waters, boil them in a small amount of salted water, and remove them from their shells.
Step 2
Finely chop the onion, celery, and garlic, and sauté them in sunflower oil.
Step 3
Add the flour and sauté again.
Step 4
Sprinkle in the pepper, add the tomato puree, stir, and dilute the sauce with the broth in which the mussels were cooked.
Step 5
When the sauce comes to a boil, add the mussels.
Step 6
Place everything in a baking dish and top with 4-5 slices of lemon.
Step 7
Bake the plakia in a preheated oven at 355°F for 10 minutes.
Step 8
Cool and serve cold.
