Mushrooms with Suluguni Cheese
Ingredients
- Fresh Mushrooms 20 oz
- Butter 0 oz
- Suluguni Cheese 5 oz
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Dried Chamomile 1 teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Remove the stems from the mushrooms.
Step 2
Place the mushroom caps in a skillet, adding a few pieces of butter.
Step 3
Top with sliced suluguni cheese (about 1 cm thick).
Step 4
Pour 1–2 tablespoons of water into the skillet and cover with a lid (just to cover the bottom of the skillet). Let it simmer for 20 minutes.
Step 5
When the cheese melts, turn off the heat.
Step 6
Alternatively, bake in the microwave on the baking mode or in the oven until a golden crust forms on the cheese.
Step 7
When serving, sprinkle with black pepper and a mixture of dried herbs.
