Ingredients

  • Olive Oil 1 tablespoon
  • Onion 1 head
  • Butter 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh Mushrooms 10 oz
  • Garlic 1 clove
  • Salt to taste
  • Chopped Sage Leaves ½ teaspoon
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Dry White Wine ¼ cup

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

In a skillet, heat the olive oil and sauté the sliced onion until soft and caramelized for 20-30 minutes over low heat.

Step 2

Add the butter and let it melt.

Step 3

Then add the sliced mushrooms and sauté for another 20-30 minutes until the mushrooms begin to caramelize.

Step 4

Add the minced garlic and thyme and sauté for another minute until fragrant. Season with salt and pepper.

Step 5

Pour in the wine and let it evaporate.
