Mushrooms in Lemon Juice

Description
Be careful with the lemon juice; it's better to start with less, otherwise you won't taste the mushrooms over the lemon.
Ingredients
- Morels 5 oz
- Onion 1 piece
- Vegetable Oil 0 fl oz
- Meyer Lemon Juice 2 tablespoons
- Brandy 2 tablespoons
- Ground Black Pepper ¼ teaspoon
- Nutmeg a pinch
- Salt ½ teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Finely chop the onion and sauté until golden (about 5 minutes).
Step 2
Wash the mushrooms, dry them, and cut them into quarters. Add to the onion and sauté for another 5 minutes.
Step 3
Now add salt, pepper, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Cover and simmer on low heat for five minutes.
Step 4
Pour in the brandy and evaporate over high heat for one minute.
Step 5
Transfer to a deep plate and let cool.
