Description
These mushrooms can be served as a standalone dish or as a side, mixed with vegetables. It is very important to sauté the mushrooms briefly and not to overcook them in the pan.
Ingredients
- Butter 2 tablespoons
- Fresh Mushrooms 10 oz
- Shallot 1 head
- Vegetable Oil 1 tablespoon
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Heat a pan over high heat with butter and vegetable oil. Add the chopped mushrooms, stir, shaking the pan slightly, and cook for 4-5 minutes until the mushrooms are browned, then immediately remove from heat.
Step 2
Add the finely chopped shallot, mix well, and cook over medium heat for 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper before serving.
