Description

Mushroom sauce is a rich and flavorful addition to many dishes. It combines fresh mushrooms, cream, and herbs to create a delicious accompaniment for meats, pasta, or vegetables. Perfect for enhancing your meal, this versatile sauce can be made quickly and easily at home.

Ingredients

  • Porcini Mushrooms 5 oz
  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Thyme 1 stalk
  • Salt to taste
  • Passata Tomato Sauce 1 tablespoon
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Finely chop the garlic and sauté it with thyme until golden brown. Add the finely chopped mushrooms and cook over high heat until the mushrooms release their juices. Reduce the heat, and after about ten minutes, stir in the tomato paste, then season with salt and pepper.

Step 2

The sauce will be ready when it thickens slightly and the mushroom pieces become very tender. Drizzle it with dry wine or broth, and serve with any pasta, polenta, or crostini.
