Mushroom pâté with champignons
Ingredients
- Champignons 20 oz
- Onion 5 oz
- Butter 5 oz
- Parsley 0 oz
- Salt to taste

Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
Dice the onion.
Step 3
Chop the champignons in a blender into small pieces.
Step 4
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and sauté the onion until translucent.
Step 5
Add the mushrooms to the onion and fry, stirring, for 10–15 minutes until the excess moisture evaporates.
Step 6
Transfer the mixture back to the blender and blend until smooth.
Step 7
While blending, gradually add the cold butter to the pâté, a small piece at a time.
Step 8
Add finely chopped parsley to the pâté and salt to taste.
Step 9
Transfer the pâté to a container with a lid and refrigerate for 1–2 hours, after which it can be served.
Step 10
Serve the mushroom pâté with your favorite bread.
