Mushroom Julienne with Camembert
Ingredients
- Camembert cheese 1 piece
- Pickled Chanterelles 5 oz
- 10% cream 0 fl oz
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese 1½ tablespoons
- Garlic 1 clove
- Ocean salt to taste
- Mixed Ground Peppers to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the Camembert into two flat pieces of equal thickness.
Step 2
Place the bottom piece in a baking dish and season with the pepper mixture.
Step 3
Chop the mushrooms coarsely and add them to the heated oil in the pan.
Step 4
After 2 minutes, stir and reduce the heat to medium.
Step 5
After 1 minute, add salt and stir again.
Step 6
Pour in the cream.
Step 7
As soon as the cream thickens, add the coarsely chopped garlic. Stir.
Step 8
After 1–2 minutes, remove from heat and transfer the mushrooms to the baking dish on top of the cheese.
Step 9
Cover with the second piece of Camembert.
Step 10
Sprinkle with hard cheese and add pepper.
Step 11
Place in a preheated oven at 355°F.
Step 12
After 12 minutes, the fragrant julienne is ready!
