Mushroom and Pancetta Pies
Ingredients
- Fresh Mushrooms 15 oz
- Puff Pastry 10 oz
- Butter 1 tablespoon
- Cream 5 fl oz
- Chicken Broth 1 tablespoon
- Herbs 1 bunch
- Pancetta 4 pieces
- Maple syrup to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 390°F.
Step 2
Roll out the pastry into a thin sheet and place it between two greased sheets of parchment paper.
Step 3
Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and crispy. Cut the pastry into small squares.
Step 4
Sauté the mushrooms in butter until cooked and all the liquid has evaporated. Then add the cream, broth, and spices, and heat. Finally, add the finely chopped herbs.
Step 5
Cut the pancetta into small squares, brush with maple syrup, place on parchment paper, and broil until crispy and golden.
Step 6
On a plate, arrange pieces of crispy pastry, top each with a spoonful of mushrooms, and place a piece of pancetta on top.
