Description

It's best to use bread made from whole wheat flour or toasted bread. You will need 2 slices.

Ingredients

  • Olive Oil 5 fl oz
  • Sugar to taste
  • Ground Cumin 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon 1 piece
  • Garlic 4 cloves
  • Walnuts 5 oz
  • Balsamic Vinegar 2 tablespoons
  • Mild Chili Spice 3 pieces
  • Orange Bell Peppers 3 pieces
  • Sourdough Bread 5 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Roast the bell peppers and chili peppers in the oven until softened and peel off the skin. Chop finely. Squeeze the juice from the lemon.

Step 2

Tear the bread into pieces and place it in a blender or food processor. Add the chopped peppers, chopped garlic, lemon juice, and all other ingredients except for the oil.

Step 3

Blend until smooth, gradually pouring in the olive oil before finishing and mix thoroughly. The result should be a paste. Serve in a small bowl.
