Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
Juice the 6 oranges into a heated pot.
Step 3
Add sugar, walnuts, a bit of chopped ginger, and prunes to the juice.
Step 4
Bring everything to a boil.
Step 5
Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 1 to 1.5 hours.
Step 6
Serve as a sauce for pancakes or mix with hot couscous.
