Description

Mini chebureks with potatoes and cheese

Ingredients

  • Wheat Flour 20 oz
  • Mashed Potatoes 5 oz
  • Aged gouda cheese 0 oz
  • Sweet Red Onion 0 oz
  • Water 20 fl oz
  • Vegetable Oil 0 fl oz
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Prepare the dough: sift the flour into a deep bowl, add salt, vegetable oil, and hot water. Mix all the ingredients well until a dough forms. Let the dough rest.

Step 2

Prepare the filling: combine the ready-made puree, sautéed onions, and finely grated Gouda cheese in a bowl and mix until smooth.

Step 3

Roll out the dough for each cheburek into a circle with a diameter of 18 cm, and place the filling of potato and cheese on one half of the dough.

Step 4

Close the cheburek with the second half of the dough, sealing the edges with a wavy cutter or a fork, shaping it into a crescent.

Step 5

Fry the chebureki in hot oil, either in a deep fryer or in a skillet, until a golden crust forms. Serve the mini-chebureki with Satsibeli sauce.
