Millet Polenta
Ingredients
- Millet 5 oz
- Milk 1 cup
- Cream 5 fl oz
- Meat 5 oz
- Morels 5 oz
- Onion 2 pieces
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese 1 tablespoon
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Take the millet and rinse it well.
Step 2
Pour boiling water over it to cover all the millet.
Step 3
Cook on low heat for 10 minutes.
Step 4
Then add milk, cream, egg, and spices, and mix everything together.
Step 5
Grease a baking dish with oil and place the millet in it.
Step 6
Put it in the oven for 20 minutes until ready.
Step 7
While the millet is cooking, sauté the mushrooms (I used champignons) with the onion.
Step 8
In another pan, sauté the finely chopped meat with the onion.
Step 9
Before finishing, add cheese to both the meat and the mushrooms.
Step 10
The millet polenta is ready — it can be cut.
Step 11
Cut into pieces and serve with mushrooms or meat and herbs, as preferred, or with both.
