Ingredients
- Millet 1 cup
- Milk 3 cups
- Water 1 cup
- Pumpkin 15 oz
- Sugar 1 tablespoon
- Salt a pinch
- Butter to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Rinse the millet and drain the water. After rinsing, you can pour boiling water over the millet to remove bitterness. After 1-2 minutes, drain the water. Cut the pumpkin into small cubes or grate it on a coarse grater. Place everything in the slow cooker bowl, add sugar, salt, and milk.
Step 2
It is preferable to add butter to the finished porridge, but you can also add it right away.
Step 3
Set the slow cooker to the 'Stew' mode for 1-2 hours, depending on the size of the chopped pumpkin.
