Ingredients

  • Pasta shells 15 oz
  • Orange Bell Peppers 1 piece
  • Onion 2 pieces
  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Mild Chili Spice to taste
  • Canned Corn 1 can
  • Canned Baby Beets 1 can
  • Tomatoes 3 pieces
  • Chicken Broth 1 cup
  • Wheat Flour 1 teaspoon
  • Olive Oil 2 tablespoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Prepare the salsa sauce in advance. In olive oil, sauté 1 minced clove of garlic and 1 onion. Peel the tomatoes, chop finely, and add to the pan. Sauté for a bit, then add the broth, flour, salt, and pepper, and simmer on low heat for 1 hour.

Step 2

Slice the onion into half-rings, mince the garlic and chili, and cut the bell pepper into strips. Lightly sauté the garlic and onion, then add the peppers and simmer for 10 minutes. Add the corn, beans, salsa sauce, salt, and pepper, and simmer for another 5 minutes.

Step 3

Cook the pasta. Serve on a plate and top with the vegetable mixture and sauce.
